Replacement idler spring for dryers. Maintains tension on the idler pulley to keep the drum belt engaged. Replace if broken, stretched, or missing.
Decided to order the kit with both rollers even thou the right one looked OK.Also ordered the pulley for the idler. Made for most Admiral, Crosley, Norge, and Magic Chef dryers. Kit includes 2 drum support rollers, 2 support shafts, 4 screws, 2 spacers, 2 washers, 2 retaining rings and instruction sheet.
When I pulled out the dryer from the wall, I could see dust/lint had accumulated everywhere and the vent system was compromised. I vacuumed up the dust/lint accumulation outside and then inside the vent system. I then opened the lower cabinet to clean and check its condition. I removed the water steamer bottle and its sub-assembly and then the drum.
