This small torsion spring restores tension to the dispenser ice door lever so the chute door snaps closed after dispensing. It helps keep warm air and moisture out, reducing frost, condensation, and stray ice from the dispenser.
This evaporator fan motor assembly circulates cold air across the evaporator coils and throughout the cabinet to keep temperatures even. Replacing a worn motor restores airflow and helps reduce warm spots and grinding or squealing fan noise. What it does:

This leveling leg assembly stabilizes and levels your refrigerator so it sits solidly on the floor and the doors align correctly. Replacing a worn or stripped leg helps reduce rocking and vibration and restores smooth leveling adjustment.
I screwed out the broken leveling leg and screwed in and reset the new one.Iit is working fine. I also thought I needed to replace the water line to the Ice maker, but discovered I just needed to reattach it. I do, however, need to fix the water dispenser as it will not shut off. THERMISTOR ASSEMBLY,PTC
For an emergency fix I installed a 3 in1 kit disabling the original start cap and wiring in the original run cap to the run winding. Ordered the proper PTC and overload from Appliance Parts Pros and installed them 2 weeks later. The original start and run capacitor were good, rewired back to design specs. The original PTC had pins 1,2 and 3, the replacement had 2,3 and 4. Only wiring change was to install the red wire from pin 1 on the original PTC to pin 4 on the new PTC. Read more
This dispenser lever holder is the mounting bracket behind the refrigerator's dispenser paddle. It supports and aligns the lever and switch so water or ice dispenses reliably when the paddle is pressed.
Refrigerator was easy. Simply replaced the activator switch that was sticking. The range hood was a little more difficult. I had replaced the switch years ago but it still didn’t work. So I took on the challenge of replacing the transformer. That was difficult to get to but once replaced and reassembled the lights work fine. Read more
This holder is a small mounting bracket that secures a mating component in place inside the appliance. Replacing a cracked or missing holder restores a firm, rattle-free fit and proper alignment.
This evaporator fan motor assembly moves cold air across the evaporator and throughout the fresh food compartment to keep temperatures even and cooling consistent. Replace it to restore proper airflow and help eliminate warm spots or frost buildup. What it does
Removed the old fan housing. Removed the fan from its housing and took the fan blade off. I then smelled the fan and it smelt of burnt insulation. I ordered a new fan and re-assembled in reverse order. Fan started up when compressor fired up. Fan was a plug & play item. Erroe Code cleared on the front and refrig is working fine. Only thing was the fan was not identical with the old one. It fit in the enclosure the same and the shaft was the same length. My old fan was 10 years old and they... Read more
The Water Filter Bypass is an OEM part for LG refrigerators. It provides a way to bypass the installed water filter and allows the water line to pass directly to the ice maker and water dispenser.
Causes of a bad water filter bypass can include mineral or sediment buildup restricting water flow, cracks or leaks in the plastic components, or damage to the bypass valve.
Symptoms of a bad water filter bypass include:
Replacing the water filter bypass restores optimal water flow and allows the filter to be changed out easily. This OEM LG part is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore models.
My fridge is a Kenmore and four years old. The water filter had to be replaced every six months at a cost of $30 to $50 each or it didn't make ice. I decided not to buy any more filters. Sears Parts first told me that the bypass is built in (but the kitchen flood when I left the filter off), then they couldn't find the part to bypass the filter. The manual mentioned not to lose the cap, but I never received one on installation. So I went on line and found AppliancePartsPros.com and called. The... Read more

This motor support damper sits between the refrigerator's compressor and base to absorb vibration and movement. Replacing a worn damper helps quiet rattles and humming from the back of the cabinet and keeps the compressor properly supported.
This cover tube is a molded protective housing that shields internal components and wiring from wear, heat, and debris. It helps maintain safe operation and prevents rubbing or chafing that can lead to damage. What it does:

This lamp cover is the clear plastic lens that protects and diffuses the refrigerator interior light, restoring even illumination and protecting the lamp from spills and impact. Designed to replace a cracked, discolored, or missing lens. What it does:
The lamp cover and freezer door gasket were simple to replace, however before doing the repairs I discovered that the water line to the ice maker was leaking therefore I got help from a repair person at a local appliance store to fix the line and he also helped with the installation of the ice chute door....I would say the most difficult part was getting to the old ice chute door to replace as you have to be careful that you don't break one of the tabs holding the dispenser unit in place, but...
