This tub support assembly holds the washing machine drum in place and includes the spin tube for water drainage. It replaces worn supports that cause excessive vibration, loud noises, or drum movement during operation. Install when your washer shakes violently, makes grinding sounds, or the drum feels loose.
I installed all the necessary parts that I received from you and it works great, now. I received the parts in good time without overnighting them. I had the whole washing machine apart and went through it all before ordering parts. Tear down and assembly was easy. I just took my time. The washer is 17 years old and was well built. It was worth it compared to what is on the market today, and cheaper. Read more
Replaced the push to start switch and the thermal fuse. The dryer is 23 years old and is working fine since we replaced the parts that were recommended on your website. Even with the cost of next day delivery, our cost was way less than we would have paid to have a professional repairman do the job. All around excellent experience. Thank you. Read more

Located on the washer lid, it presses against the lid switch to signal that it's safe to operate. Replace if the washer won't start even with the lid closed, or if it continues running with the lid open.

The repair sounds easy, doesn't it? It would have been, except that I actually had to do laundry while waiting for the part to arrive. So, I was using a pair of channel locks to turn the exposed bolt/post sticking out in order to turn the washing machine on. In doing so, I actually crushed part of the thread on the bolt, so the starter knob wouldn't screw on! In order to screw on the new starter knob, I had to buy a special nut which rethreaded the bolt. It cost $25 for rethreading kit! Once... Read more
