Seals and cushions the vent tube where it passes through the cabinet, preventing air leaks and vibration noise. Replace if cracked or worn. Verify fit.
I replaced the inner door panel, vent grommet, and door boot seal. Replacing these items was pretty straightforward, especially with the repair videos playing in the background. The only "challenging" things were getting the boot attached to the drum area and removing/reattaching the spring+cable around the boot seal. The total time also includes cleaning the inside of the washer and using some anti-rust jelly on the top panel near the detergent door. Washer is working great now. Read more

Washer not advancing through cycles or stopping mid-cycle? Replace the timer to restore automatic cycle progression. Easy DIY repair, takes less time than opening the panel.
Replaced the timer and now all is well. I ordered the part on 1/24/16 and on 1/26/16 received it and installed it. Tested the washer successfully in both Normal and Regular cycles. No issues were observed. I wanted to add that replacing the timer was very easy. It took me longer to open the panel than the actual replacement of the timer itself. I was very pleased with the ordering and delivery speed from AppliancePartPros. This was my second time that I called on them to supply me with parts.... Read more
