We took the dryer out of the laundry room and took it apart, after reviewing numerous videos at Appliance Parts Pros for direction. Removed front panel, front bulkhead and drum. Then removed exhaust duct, blower assembly and finally motor. (Use large flat blade screw-driver to press very hard down and out on motor mount to remove). Simple. Remove top back panel. (4 screws) Remove old injector. (1 nut screw.) Rotate to remove. (Other side is a tab in a slot.) Unsnap the upper injector. Snap upper injector on to new lower injector. Replace in reverse order. Run washer, look for leaks. Read more

We watched the video before we purchased the parts for this project. We wanted to make sure exactly what parts we would need. Thanks for having this information available. We purchased the mounting stem repair kit,,tub bearing kit, 3 new bolt/washers that hold the outer tub in place and the spanner wrench. Cleaned everything... I've read several reports about how "easy and quick" it was to replace the motor. All I can say is, "nonsense". It wasn't as easy as others reported, but for someone with decent tool skills, it was a very doable home repair - just be prepared to spend some time on it. First, the motor needs to be accessed from the FRONT of the dryer. This means removing the two cover panels to access the interior. Here's the story. All my appliances except the dryer broke. Yeah. talk about bad luck. First I tried to fix the refrigerator. Replaced both motherboard and inverter board. Now it wakes up but the compressor does not kick in. Need another part. The washer, well I have to pull out the sink to get enough room to pull out the washer to fix it. Purchased and installed new tub bearing and seals. Decided to replace the tub bolts as well, since I had it apart. Now if I could just find a new outer tub (which the manufacturer has discontinued). Appliance parts pros has a great "how to" video which made it simple! Read more

Removed lid sanded down all rust spots, taped over the printed instructions on the inside of the lid, washed with alcohol and spray painted with appliance white epoxy paint. Replaced the plastic hinge-balls and one of the lid support/bumper grommet. It was actually easier to install the lid than removing it; used a small amount of grease to hold both balls in place, by holding the lid vertical and placing the left side to the inserted ball and then pushing the right side down. Replaced the control board after removing the inner door liner, plastice board cover and board itself, by removing screws, working various plastic clips/tabs and unclipping wire harnesses from board. most of time was spent cleaning the black soot from the door, which had a terrible burnt electrical/plastic fire smell. Cleaned mold/scale off of as much of the door as I could while in there as well. Removing parts without breaking plastic tabs to hold the new parts was trickiest part. Read more

I emailed appliancepartspros.com with what my problem was and they informed me what was wrong they gave me a part number to order, tools needed and a brief explanation how replace the seal. they also have online video's for different repairs. I watched the video for lip seal(part # 207843) replacement.I also had to remove the brake assembly in order to replace the seal so I watched that video also.
