• Will not fill with water

I replaced the float switch. It was an easy enough repair. I didn't have to remove the dishwasher to do the work. The part is accessible from behind the front skirt.The only problem was there is not a lot of space to work in. Getting the fastener off and on requires a stubby nut driver. I used a flexible extension instead. I had to feel for the nut as the bottom of the door blocked my view. • Will not drain

The new drain pump solved the problem and was also quieter than the one it replaced. I saw that many people removed the dishwasher from under the counter to make the repair. Not sure if it was easier, but I was able to do the repair through the kick plate opening. This saved me from having to get the unit positioned back in the exact same place, leveled, and all the sound insulation trim re-installed.
