I watched the video first, then I exchanged the new guard filter and lower washer arm parts and it was done. I am glad I watched the video to know that I had to retain the end shields. I called and talked to a customer service rep and she helped me troubleshoot the problem and order the correct part. She also sent me the pdf of the repair manual and I followed its instructions to replace the drain solenoid. It was a fairly easy repair. I wasn't sure if I would need the water level control switch, but I ordered it to be on the safe side. Turns out the original is still good. Read more
Ordered the part. Arrived the next day. Took the eleven screws off the door exposing the back of the Soap/Rinse Aid dispenser. Six screws hold it on the inside of the door. Popped off easily. There is a plug that runs from the timer to the dispenser…it's a pain to get off. Use a flat head screw driver. Screwed the new unit in place. Plugged it in. Put the door back together. I accidentally caught the door catch in the door and screwed it together seizing it...so I had to take the top screws off... Read more
