The Control Panel is an OEM part for Whirlpool dishwashers. Located at the top-center of the appliance, it houses the buttons, LED displays, and electronic components that operate the dishwasher. The panel is designed to provide an easy-to-use interface for starting cycles, selecting options, and monitoring status readouts.
Symptoms of a bad control panel include:
- Non-responsive or uncalibrated buttons
- Glitchy or distorted LED displays
- Inability to power on or select complete cycles
- Repeated error codes related to electrical faults
Causes of failure can be residue buildup inhibiting button presses, damaged or unresponsive touch sensors, or moisture that shorts out circuits.
This OEM Whirlpool replacement part is also compatible with KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and some Kenmore models.
