My float was snapped off and while trying to find out what was the problem with the dishwasher. I discovered that the back docking station seals were shot. I replaced both the float and the docking station. The docking station took about 3 minutes. To fix the float I had to pull out the dishwasher and fit it from the bottom. It took about an hour. • Will not drain

The new drain pump solved the problem and was also quieter than the one it replaced. I saw that many people removed the dishwasher from under the counter to make the repair. Not sure if it was easier, but I was able to do the repair through the kick plate opening. This saved me from having to get the unit positioned back in the exact same place, leveled, and all the sound insulation trim re-installed.
