Dryer not heating? A blown thermal cut-off is a common cause. This safety fuse opens if overheating occurs. Test with a multimeter for continuity.
Checked the heating element and found that it was shot so I bought a new one with out checking the thermostat and the cutoff-tml. I received the new element and it still wasn't heating so I had to wait another week for the cutoff-tml to be delivered. If your dryer isn't heating, make sure you check all parts of the heating system with a multimeter before you order new parts. Read more

My son and I took the back panel off the dryer and found that the dryer was full of lint. It was very dirty and probably explains why the dryer had no been working as well. If I opened door and held door switch, started dryer, turned drum by hand, quickly closed door and pushed start again before drum stopped turning, dryer worked fine.
