Used the Wpl. Vent Kit, 4-way. This is not a quick, easy job. You have to disassemble the dryer, removing the entire front, door, drum, and control panel. Take your time and take pictures as you go so you can get it all back together again after installing the conversion kit. It will take you at least an hour, and you need room to work. First I tried changing the light bulb. Unfortunately that didn't do the trick. The next thought was the socket itself. I ordered the part from APP, which as usual, was very easy and arrived in 2 days. I removed the back cover from the dryer and easily replaced the socket. Screwed in a new light bulb and we were back in action with light! Truly very simple process. Read more
