I replaced the igniter. It was made more difficult by one of the machine screws on the oven had been over torqued at the factory. It had stripped the screw and made removal of the old igniter very difficult. If not for that, this would have been a 15 minute repair. Read more
Replace your range's access cover housing if the original is cracked, broken, or missing. This protective cover installs over internal components.

Used a fluke volt meter to troubleshoot the gas range. Upon inspection one of the igniter switches was bad and the spark module was also bad. Ordered replacement parts from Appliance Parts Pros and changed them out. I followed the replacement instruction video for the spark module kit, but the igniter switch I had to figure out since the video for it was a different style of switch. First purchased the Valve/Regulator kit. Installed it & oven was doing the same thing. Saw the notes on this website that it could possibly be the ignitor so I decided to try that. In my case, this unit has two ignitors exactly the same. One for the broiler (top) and one for the oven (bottom).
