Easy to remove the metal parts from the old bin. The only problem was that the screw that holds the adapter has red thread locker and screwdriver rounded off the head of the screw. Drilled the screw and heated the screw to loosen the thread locker and used an ease out to remove the screw. Read more

I first thought it was the auger in the ice container so I changed it and it was not the problem. I then talked to ApplianceParts customer service that it might be the yoke on the motor that turned the auger or even the motor itself even though it worked. I ordered the parts, the yoke was supposed to be able to be changed by itself but mind would not come off the motor shaft so I had to cut it off just to remove it from the unit so I had to change the motor anyway because of this. Only two screws hold the mount of the pump in the lower left near the floor. Easy access by removing the front covers then remove the two mounting screws to the pump assy. Then remove the intake and output hoses. I noticed on the new pump a male hose bib on the intake. Supplied with the dishwasher was the smooth intake water tube. Best to not reuse this supplied hose.
