Refrigerator not cooling properly? A clogged filter drier prevents proper refrigerant flow. Requires professional installation due to sealed system.
Ordered new Evaporator part and Drier from Appliance Pros. The part arrived earlier than expected and was properly packaged. I had both parts installed by a professional as they required a level of expertise above my capabilities. Works perfectly. Read more
Fixes ice buildup on freezer back wall and restores airflow. This radiant defrost heater melts frost from evaporator coils during defrost cycles.
After watching numerous videos I was able to discern that the problem was with one of the following: the timer, the heater, or the thermostat. a short time check showed me that the timer was working so that narrowed it down to the other two. Not having the necessary tools to check those two I ordered both parts. Once the parts came and I took out the old parts it was quite evident that it was the heater since it had black burn marks on it. I decided to install the thermostat also since it... Read more
Seals freezer door perimeter to prevent cold air loss and frost buildup. Replace if torn, cracked, or door won't close tightly. Confirm fit by model.
Removed the top door hinge from the refrigerator as per the video on the website. Peeled back the old seal to get to and remove the hex head screws that hold the inner door liner/shelves. (I probably could have just torn the seal out before removing the screws.) The door seal I'm replacing is secured between the plastic door liner and the metal door. Due to seal leakage and ice buildup, the 8 screws on the bottom of the door were severely rusted. Was able to remove 7 of them with a nut... Read more
Fix ice buildup in freezer and warm fridge temps. This defrost thermostat monitors evaporator temperature to control defrost cycles. DIY-friendly repair.
Lower hinge pin serves as the pivot shaft for your refrigerator door. Replace this part if worn, bent, broken, or missing to restore smooth door movement.
Temporarily stuck a BMW lug bolt through the bracket and pivot opening to secure the door on the base, then waited just 3 days for the exact parts to come in from AppliancePros. Searching for the appliance model number brought me to the Appliance Pros website where finding the exact parts was quick and easy. Getting the correct part installed was a bit more involved as I had to remove and reinstall the bracket once the hinge pivot was installed, but it was quick and easy with my son holding the... Drawer roller enables smooth gliding of refrigerator drawers. Replace if drawer falls off track, sticks, or roller is cracked. Verify fit with your model.
Popping the old draw glides off was the toughest part of the job, ad even that was fairly easy, once I noticed the little retaining tabs near the front of the drawer. Pushed in on the tabs, while pushing back on the drawer glide rail and it popped right off. One minor problem I did note: When the rollers were installed on the shoulder screws, they would not turn. One roller just had a burr around the inside edge of the hole. The other the entire bore was a bit undersized, creating a snug fit.... Read more

Replace a cracked, yellowed, or missing fresh food door handle on your refrigerator. This white handle installs on the main compartment door for secure grip.
I took out the old screws which were a bit of a challenge. The new handles seemed too short. Learned they needed to be warmed to be more flexible. Put near fireplace for a few minutes. Then with a little pressure they snapped into place and I screwed them in. Looks like new again. Read more
Ice stripper removes ice cubes from the ice maker mold so the dispenser or storage bin fills properly. Replacing a worn or broken stripper helps the ice maker eject cubes cleanly and reduces ice jams or stuck cubes. What it does:
Checked out the video on your site on how to disassemble the ice maker. Was really easy when you know the correct sequence. Only 3 screws and it's out of the freezer. Disassembled the ice maker on my kitchen counter and replaced the ice stripper. Reassembled and installed back in my freezer. It is as good as new Read more
