The Guide Roller Assembly is an OEM part for GE microwaves. This assembly includes the rollers and support mechanism that enable the microwave turntable to rotate smoothly. It is crucial for ensuring even cooking and heating by allowing the turntable to spin steadily during operation. The roller glide is a circular plastic ring, approximately 11 inches in diameter. I
Causes of a bad guide roller assembly can include regular wear and tear, accumulation of food debris, or physical damage from heavy items placed on the turntable. These issues can hinder the turntable's rotation, leading to uneven cooking and potential damage to the microwave.
Symptoms of a bad guide roller assembly include:
This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.

The Waveguide Cover is an OEM part for GE microwaves. This cover is designed to protect the microwave's waveguide channel, which directs the microwaves into the cooking cavity. It also helps prevent food particles and moisture from entering the waveguide, ensuring efficient and safe operation of the microwave.
Over time, the Waveguide Cover can become damaged or dirty, leading to potential issues. Causes of a bad waveguide cover include exposure to food splatters, grease buildup, and general wear and tear from regular use.
Symptoms of a bad Waveguide Cover include:
After a google search, learned it could be the waveguide was stained/burned, and that replacement should be easy. A google search for GE parts brought up your website. Your website made it easy to find the parts I needed. I put in my model number and found the waveguide. Your website also recommended I’d need the pins to attach the new guide, which I ordered from the link you provided as well. The parts arrived quickly, and were easy to install. The microwave is fixed! A $30 replacement part... Read more
The Wave Guide Locking Button is an OEM part for GE microwaves. This small yet essential component secures the wave guide cover in place, ensuring that the microwave's internal components are protected from food particles and debris. It plays a key role in maintaining the microwave's efficiency and safety.
Causes of a bad wave guide locking button can include regular wear and tear, damage from frequent use, or accidental breakage. If the locking button is compromised, the wave guide cover may become loose, leading to potential damage or inefficiency in the microwave's operation.

The Magnetron is an OEM replacement part for GE microwaves. It is responsible for generating the microwave energy used for cooking and heating food. Over time, magnetrons can wear down and become less effective.
Symptoms of a bad Magnetron include:
Causes for a malfunctioning Magnetron can include a burnt-out magnetron, issues with the high-voltage diode that powers it, or problems with the control board that regulates its operation
First I watched some DIY videos for familiarization and safety. I bought a 28 Ohms resistor and rigged some wires and aligator clips and discharged the accumulated energy from the capacitor. Took out the magnetron and even when it showed good continuity I discarded it due to sings of been overheated. I reinstalled a new magnetron ( part # w27x10597 ) and a Diode HV Ass ( part # wb27x10682 ) for a total of about $ 143.00 including shipping cost. This price against a quoted price of $ 225.00... Ordered a replacement glass plate from Appliance Parts Pro. I received the part the next day and it was broken when delivered. I called APP and informed them and they shipped me another replacement one. I received it the next day again. It was the perfect original replacement glass plate. I placed it in the microwave and it worked perfect. Read more
I found that the wire harness connectors on the thermostat cutout switch were burnt and making intermittent electrical contact. I ordered a new thermostat and complete wiring harness for it. It took less than an hour to replace the thermostat and harness. There is one sensor at the very bottom that was a little difficult to reach, so I had to remove the bottom cover of the microwave about half way so I could reach in and remove the old and reinstall the new harness connector. Overall it was... Read more
Had to pull out the microwave out of the cabinet and take off the cover to get at the bulb. GE engineers did not think this one out. Could have put a panel inside to replace the bulb. Read more
This door latch engages the microwave's interlock system when the door closes so the unit can operate only when sealed. Replacing a worn or broken latch restores proper door closure and reliable, safe startup.
What's included: 1 door latch Install notes:
I had replaced the door switches a few years ago for the same problem. I figured it must be the door switches. Removed the cover & found one of the plastic clips on the door actuator (lock) that holds the top door switch in place was snapped off. (The actuator (lock) is the black plastic component that holds all the door switches). The top door switch was not being engaged when the door was closed because it was not secured in place. Ordered a new actuator (lock) from Appliacepartspros.com... Read more
