The auger gearbox shaft had a spot that was stripped of threads which prevented the auger drive from spinning the ice down the chute. I replaced the auger motor/gearbox assembly, the auger drive as it had to be cut off the shaft, and the 3 mount bolts that hold it all in place. Whole job took 30 minutes from start to finish which included cutting off the drive bracket. Read more

Everything is pretty obvious for dismantling except the spring in the rod on the bottom (pay attention to how it is attached to the rod) and the plastic screw on the front of the auger (use pliers to grip it and it is reverse thread).
