The old Ice stripper had broken fingers. I realized that even with the new one I had to shave some of the plastic to allow the rotating arms to clear as they push out the ice. The auger gearbox shaft had a spot that was stripped of threads which prevented the auger drive from spinning the ice down the chute. I replaced the auger motor/gearbox assembly, the auger drive as it had to be cut off the shaft, and the 3 mount bolts that hold it all in place. Whole job took 30 minutes from start to finish which included cutting off the drive bracket. Read more
