This push-in plug button is a small replacement cap that covers and seals an unused opening or socket on compatible appliances, keeping the area clean and helping prevent debris and moisture entry. What it does:
Replace your dryer's control panel touch pad if the original is cracked, worn, or unresponsive. Installs on the top panel to restore button functionality.
Replacement idler spring for dryers. Maintains tension on the idler pulley to keep the drum belt engaged. Replace if broken, stretched, or missing.
If your dryer only runs on high speed or lost low/medium heat settings, the resistor assembly may have failed. Easy DIY fix for multi-speed issues.
Watched the videos, ran ohmmeter tests and zeroed in on the timer. Ordered a replacement timer on a Mon night and received it about noon on Thursday. Installed it same day. Problem solved. Great service. Read more

I opened the dryer and found that the blower fan was full of lint. This apparently tripped out the Thermostat so I replaced the Thermo coupler and fuses. Unfortunately after I ordered the kit I found out that the kit comes with one of each of the fuses the two for gas dryer and one for an electric dryer. The gas Dryer required three fuses one with the red dot two with the yellow dots, so I had to order a second kit to get a yellow dot, so I decided to change the thermostat at the same time. All... I did replace the controls for the knob - which I researched was likely the problem from the internet and youtube videos. The repair itself was very easy - did it all in 20 minutes. Another video recommended disconnecting each wire from old knob and then inserting it in new knob control. I thought this was a very good tip - while it was more logistically a pain - keeping the two knobs so close, not dangling on pulling on wires, etc.... Decided to order the kit with both rollers even thou the right one looked OK.Also ordered the pulley for the idler. Watched the video for the pulley installation,super helpful on a couple of the steps!! Everything went great. A 14 year old dryer still has life! Parts ordering and delivery was also great!!!
