I replaced the temperature sensor, the thermo fuse, and the heating element that thaws the evaporator on a cycle to keep the evaporator from freezing up. There's a piece of plastic with an embedded metal nut that is screwed on to the handle at both ends of the handle. These nuts lock on to screws on the drawer. Problem is that these plastic parts are flimsy and they broke at both the left and right ends and the handle just came loose. It was a two minute job to unscrew these plastic parts from the handle and screw in the replacements. Once that's done you can attach the handle to the drawer (need a hex key). Read more

Used the video with the parts and replaced the wheels. The only thing we did wrong was using the front wheel axle instead of the back wheel axle on the back wheels. Samsung does not make it easy to replace the casters. The shafts holding the casters are crimped at the ends and had to be cut off with little room for any tools. I had to jack up the fridge and I used a hacksaw blade with a handle to cut through the wheel shafts. I didn't want to use a reciprocating saw. Hold the touch screen child lock icon for at least three seconds until the lock indicates a locked position, this will allow you to disassemble and reassemble the electrical connections on the old and new dispenser without having to unplug or turn power off to the frig. Removed the bottom shelf by releasing the 2 clips near the water filter, then lifted the front of the shelf and slid it out. Removed 2 screws from the broken Vegetable Rail and replaced it with the new one. Slid the shelf back into place and locked it down into the clips. Done. Repair required removing all of the interior drawers & shelves and the interior back panel. There you will find the defrost heater. Behind the defrost heater is a metal plate as well as one on the back of the front interior cover. Both were corroded and in need of replacement.
