Repair required removing all of the interior drawers & shelves and the interior back panel. There you will find the defrost heater. Behind the defrost heater is a metal plate as well as one on the back of the front interior cover. Both were corroded and in need of replacement. The left side sync wheel was broken so the right side wouldn't stay all of the way closed. Replaced the left side sliding rail assembly and installed a new right side gear.
