The amount of water being dispensed into the ice cube tray was excessive, causing overflow of the tray. The water then ran into the collection bin and even down the side walls of the freezer creating a huge block of ice in the bin, and ice all over the lower shelves as well. The excessive build up of ice caused the cube tray to crack and also split the little silicone water grommet that connects to the water delivery tube which directs water into the cube tray. The compressor was very hot and did not appear to be running. You could here a relay click on and off 15sec cycle. repeating every 2 minutes! Bought a new overload relay too repair, plus a new thermal protection switch because it was cheap. Both parts are actually located on the compressor behind a plastic cover.
