This refrigerator evaporator assembly includes two DA60-00040A spacers, two DA60-00041A spacers, one DA32-10105R sensor, one DA47-00095E sensor, mounting clip DA61-00453A and the defrost heater. Defrost heater not available separate.
Bought the complete coil assembly, and separated the heater tube. Had to bend each tang that held the heater tube. Took some time, but honestly was not that big of a deal. Took a fill day to defrost before turning back on, as the drain port in the fridge was completely frozen. Not too mention a hidden block of ice in the fan assembly. Note: You want to keep the new lower metal tray, so you need a pair of snips or dikes to cut the single pop rivet. You don't have to re-rivet. Note2: The... Read more

I removed the light fixture cover with a screw driver and the replaced the old light bulb. Read more

Following advice on YouTube I removed the ice maker and found the ice tray had broke. The You Tube video said they got the parts from AppliaceParts Pros. The site was easy to use and quickly sent me the needed part - an ice tray for about $12. Much cheaper than a service call. I put in the part yesterday. It was easy - just need a screwdriver and flash light. My wife is so happy to have ice again. Read more

My Samsung side by side was freezing up the cooling coils. My repair started by reading online problems of others and replacing parts they replaced. These parts were very inexpensive probes, less than $10 each, from this site. Although they turned out not to repair the problem, they were the most obvious and easies attempt.
