I replaced the temperature sensor, the thermo fuse, and the heating element that thaws the evaporator on a cycle to keep the evaporator from freezing up. Removed refrigerator panel, disconnected light and fan power. Removed fan assembly and replaced motor, grommets and fan attachment spring. Unit had adhesive on spring to help hold the spring. Chatted with customer service and clarified that spring and fan would easily pull off motor shaft. Adhesive probably was extra measure used during original build of the fridge. I thought that I needed to repair the water supply. But it all looked OK. I had turned the power off for a few minutes hoping to clear any false info from the numerous power outages. And with hours of research, I found some info about the door switch on top of the freezer. It suggested placing a magnet above the switch to silence the noise. This did the trick.
