Oven not heating or heating slowly? The bake element at the bottom of your oven cavity supplies heat for baking. Simple 2-screw, 2-wire repair.
I'm a 66 year old woman (on a fixed income) and I'd never before repaired an oven bake element . My stove is 20 years old but I still found it was much more affordable to change the bake element rather than buying a new stove. I called the number on the website and talked to a very informative woman. She answered all the questions I had about my stove. She told me about the repair video on the website which had step-by-step instructions. I ordered a new element - received it within 4 days.... Read more

Secures the inner tub to the outer tub in top-load washers. Replace if hub is cracked, broken, or rusted out to restore proper drum alignment and stability.
The machine stopped working with a bang. There were chunks of large metal at the bottom. The drive plate had rusted through. My first step was to put a rag in the tub drain hole and save the pump. Except for grinding/chiseling off a frozen-corroded-rusty solid mass. The repair was rather easy. A couple of channel lock wrenches and a hammer didn't budge it. A monkey wrench will just round it off. You need that 1 11/6" wrench. The spindle nut was really stuck on there for my 14+ yo washer. I... Read more
Connects the pressure switch to the tub in top-load washers. Replace if cracked, punctured, or brittle to restore proper water level monitoring.
I replaced the water level switch and hose. After removing the hose, I found that it was clogged, and did not allow the water level to be sensed by the switch. A test after the replacement of the parts was successful. While filling the tub, the water shut off at the small, medium, and large levels as indicated by the switch. Read more

Drain pump inlet hose for top-load washers. Connects the tub to the pump assembly. Replace if cracked, leaking, or has holes causing water on the floor.
The video was very helpful. the hardest part is getting off old rusted parts. I had to use a hacksaw to remove one of the old clamps. I had to open the bottom of the washing machine to remove of the other clamp. Putting the new parts on was easy. Getting everything apart was a challenge. Planning to spend hundreds on a new washer and was pleased to discover the agitator coupling was the only thing wrong. Very easy repair. Located a GE model of the same genre that used the same coupler and took the leap to get the agitator and dispenser cup for this model (WJRR4170). Suspension rod and spring assembly supports the washer tub and reduces vibrations. Replace if cracked, worn, or broken to restore proper tub support.
I replaced all 4 suspension rods and springs and now it spins very smooth. They weren't broken, just badly worn. It gave new life to my 15 year old GE Profile washer. They are basically springs, so they wear after a while. It was well worth the hour I spent fixing it. You need a good long reach to get to the back 2 and you have to take off the dampening straps and the control panel so you can gain access. All in all, I'm happy with the repair, although I though that these parts are bit... Read more
