Cleaned everything up and put the whole unit back together. The motor looked like it was somewhat cooked but still worked, so I ordered a new motor and auger to replace it. Not one to patch a job, I ordered all seal kit, bearing kit, new shaft keeper, transmission oil, spanner wrench. I have the newer version of the agitator shaft so it does not have the groove for the internal clip. This was some repair! My SG1000 stackable is over 30 years old and was purchased second hand.
