This Sump to Float Hose is an OEM part for Bosch Dishwashers. It functions to carry water from the dishwasher sump to the float assembly. Continuous water flow and exposure to detergents can lead to wear or damage over time.
What Causes a Bad Sump to Float Hose: Exposure to chemicals and hot water, along with wear from water flow, can cause the hose to degrade or develop cracks.

Ordered the full hinge piece and an extra bushing. Was able just to slide the dishwasher forward a bit, lift the right side hinge off its seat and pop in the new bushing without disassembling. Fixed!
