Leaking around dishwasher door previous repair missing parts Patrick R. • Peachtree City , GA • November 15, 2014
I ordered new seals from AppliancePartsPros.com. Finding the right seals was very easy, all based on model number of the appliance. While looking my unit over for other signs of wear, I noticed that a repair done by the prior homeowner to the lower wash arm was done improperly: a seal there was set protruding from the cover, the cover was missing screws, and the arm was missing the upper bushing. So I ordered a new seal, the missing screws, and both the top and bottom bushings (just to be...

Upper spray arm fell off of rack John G. • Media , PA • February 04, 2017
The upper spray arm mount on our KitchenAide dishwasher wore out, allowing the spray arm to droop into the dishes and pots in the lower rack. The replacement part was in stock and it arrived the very next day after I ordered it, with no special shipping cost. An amazing experience! The part took just 10 minutes to install--it could have taken less, but it always takes a few more minutes with a new fix. The washer is back in action, as good as new. I'm delighted with the response of...

Horrible door squeak needed kick plate too Linda L. • Paso Robles , CA • February 23, 2019
Kick plate was easy; screw holes in the wrong place, but used double-sided tape instead and worked great. Didn't need the extra screws ordered; it came with them.
The roller spindles should be sent with a packet of grease. When replaced, the door was even louder than previous. Used candle wax on the spindles and it's quiet as can be now.

Leaking sump housing Allen G. • Elkhorn , NE • January 15, 2016
I noticed the floor around the dishwasher was starting to get wet and warp the wooden floor. The chopper had gotten out of line and had cut a pinhole into the sump housing and the dishwasher was leaking badly. It was quite easy to repair. Just unhook the drain hose and the wire connectors, twist off the turbidity sensor and waste motor, pull out the shims and the whole assemple comes up and out. The hardest part was pulling the motor off of the assembly, since I wasn't sure if I needed to...
