This is a light lens cover that fits over the surface light bulb housing on the underside of an over-the-range microwave. It protects the light bulb and diffuses light onto the cooktop below. Replace this cover if it is cracked, yellowed, missing, or if it no longer snaps securely into place.

Purchased new ones top and bottom. Parts arrived several days ahead of schedule (thank you) .Found a repair video on YouTube and installed the new parts accordingly. A few tips; since you have to remove the control panel from the microwave take a photo of the connections prior to disconnecting them, this is especially helpful on the relays on the interlocks as the connection type is the same. This is a small plastic coupler that connects the turntable motor shaft to the glass tray support inside the microwave. I researched the problem. Found the solution online and ordered parts from AppliancePartsPros.com. It only took a screwdriver to make the repair. The only confusion I had is my model of microwave had a double diode, and the one sent to me (by model number) was a single diode. I wasn't sure what to do, either install the new single one or put the old double unit in. I went with the new single diode, and it works fine. I took plenty of pictures with my phone to remind me how the components came apart but it was pretty straight forward. Once the new parts were in and everything was reassembled the microwave worked good as new. The repair was less than a third the cost of replacement and no special tools are required.
