This tub-bearing split ring is an OEM replacement part designed for GE washing machines. This part measures 2 inches in diameter. The washer would not fill at all, with either hot or cold selected, but the agitator would start moving as if it were in fact full. Found that the Water Level (Pressure ) Switch's contact read open (infinite resistance) even with no water in the tub. Replaced it with the new switch and everything was golden once again. Harness to corset & shifter
Ordered water inlet solinoid valve and water temperature probe sensor. Items arrived in a few days. Appliance Parts Pros on-line video was extremely helpful for replacing inlet valve. It only took 20 minutes. Recommend replacing temp. sensor probe while old valve is out before mounting new valve. Only 2 screws-Easy. Entire job took about an hour start to finish. Saved at least $150 doing it myself over repairman and saved $750 over replacing the washer. Happy wife, happy life! Read more
