Replaced the de-frost timer because I noticed that one of the terminals was discolored indicating a high resistance connection. In addition I inspected the de-frost heater elements for continuity and shorts and they checked out OK. Ok so my mom called GE and a service man came out. He said no good. The refrigerator was to old to be fixed. You will have to buy a new one .. ok so with that said he collected his $100 dollars service fee !!! I slid the refer out and started tinkering with it.
