Balance Small Engine Start Switch Parts

I had to pull and clean the pressure sensor switch four times in a year. Each time more gunk accumulated. When that happens the sensor does not close the water valve. The dishawsher keeps filling and the water comes out through the overfill port. The water then goes in the catch basin under the washer and floats the emergency switch. Unplugged appliance from wall outlet. removed clip that holds these item in place. unplugged starter from compressor and from electrical wiring. plugged capacitor into starter, then plugged the electrical connection into assembly. I was searching the web for solutions and came across two folks who had similar trouble code. One fixed his by removing the pump strainer from the pump to find coins blocking water flow, thus the analog water pressure sensor provided a failure response. My issue was solved by following the other hints I got. I ordered a new sensor (switch). It was expensive for what it is, but the washer will not run correctly without it! I thought initially it was a hose because it was leaking water from the bottom. On the small and medium load it didn't leak. I watched it on the large setting and noticed the water didn't shut off initially so therefore it was over filling. I ordered a switch pressure switch from Appliance Parts Pros and received it in two days. I replaced the switch, put the washer together and now it works like new. Removed fill level pressure switch knob. Removed three screws from the back of the control panel.Opened the control panel and removed electrical connector and plastic tube from the pressure switch. Removed and replaced pressure switch. Placed control panel to correct position and replaced the three screws. Read more

Took access panel off the back of the refrigerator with 1/4 inch nut driver and found that the compressor was not running properly (humming and hot but not compressing). Unplug the unit from power. Remove decorative aluminum band from motor enclosure by removing single screw at rear of mixer. Remove screws (now exposed) which secure the top half of the motor enclosure. Using a 1/8" punch, tap-out the pin that penetrates the planetary gear cover and the motor shaft (takes some finesse to avoid damage to the painted/coated planetary. It is a tight fit!)
