So this is a poor design in the first case. Not having a center support in the back almost guarantees a failure there eventually. Tl;dr: Watch the repair video FIRST. This will take you less than 15m if you do watch the video. You need to remove a door panel, you can't directly replace the icemaker. Even without doing that, it took me less than 30 minutes. 4 screws, a panel removal, a couple of computer-style power plugs, and you'll have ice again no problem. Stupid easy. Ordered valves and new ice maker. Couple sites mentioned problem could be ice in the waterline and to make sure temps be set to 37 in frig and 0 in freezer. I had adjusted temps to these the day I ordered parts. Parts arrived a couple of days later so I opened up the ice maker and found the ice bin to be full! Guess the temp adjustment worked.
