From a cost/time point of view the Burner assembly is a better value than just buying the Gas Valve seeing as you don't have to disassemble/reassemble most of the existing Burner (to get to the Gas Valve) *and* you get a new Igniter!! Removed 2 sheet metal screw pulled element out about 2 inches. Removed two Spade connections. Removed the element from the oven.
Inserted the new element into the over, connected the two spade connector. Reinstalled the two sheet metal screws. Set the oven to bake for testing and tested until the element turned red.
Total time less than 5 minutes.
