It includes both the outer lid that protects the detergent and rinse aid compartments as well as the latch mechanism securing it closed. This dishwasher dispenser kit included the cover, lid hinge pin, spring, snap, and latch.

Ordered a new detergent dispenser that arrived within two days. Removed screws on the inside of door that removes the front door panel. The detergent dispenser is held on by a bracket with six screws. There is one plugin that needs to be disconnected.
Everything is reinstalled as before. It work as before.

Loosened metal bracket on top and bottom with screwdriver 5 min
Pushed dispenser in and removed from dishwasher 5 min
Positioned new unit in space and snapped into place 1 min
Plugged electrics back in 1 min
Screwed back on 3 min
Roughly 20 min. I am nontechnical and rarely do repairs.

I replaced the stirrer fan cover and fan, which had some carbon and slight burn marks on it. It was difficult to remove the fan cover as it did not rotate. I had to pry it off with a flat blade screwdriver, breaking the plastic tabs on the cover (which was being discarded anyway). I then cleaned any visible carbon deposits and replaced the cover and fan, using the old stirrer fan holder as it appeared OK. This part came next day. super fast. open door . remove screws on inside facing edge of door. this seperates door front and back halves. unplug electric from dispenser then remove 6 screws holding it to the inside of door. remove dispenser and install new one in reverse order. took 20 to 30 minutes on a small economy size GE dishwasher
