Ordered a new detergent dispenser that arrived within two days. Removed screws on the inside of door that removes the front door panel. The detergent dispenser is held on by a bracket with six screws. There is one plugin that needs to be disconnected. Everything is reinstalled as before. It work as before. Read more

This replacement door latch engages the strike/catch to keep the door securely closed so the appliance can operate. A worn or broken latch can cause door-closed detection issues, doors that pop open, or cycles that won't start.
Wax motor for detergent/rinse-aid dispenser.
Took door off, saw that dispenser linkage was ok, I could open and close by hand, so figured the wax motor or the wiring to it were most likely the problem. I took off the wax motor ( actuator) and ran 120 volts to it via jumper wires, and it did not move at all, so figured good chance that was the problem. Found part # on your site, received new one quickly from you, put it in and works great. Thanks. Read more

I looked up my unit and reviewed the schematic drawing online at Appliance Parts Pro. Once receiving the parts, I Pulled out the dishwasher and removed side panels - didn't even have to disconnect anything. Removed broken parts and replaced them with the new - took about 10-15 minutes start to finish. Easy cheesy! Owning LG appliances I'm thankful to have found a resource like Appliance Parts Pro!
