Remove the 2 screws that hold on the front cover just above the washer, the control board is in front of you. Remove the 2 small screws that secure the board, they are star screws, very small ones, do not drop them, for they will fall into the washer tub. My 15 year old son and I examined the new parts and made a plan for how we were going to take the front off of the oven. Turns out it was fairly simple. We removed the knobs, the knob shrouds, two philip screws on the side of the head and about 6, 6mm hex sheet screws. Voila! It came apart. This OEM replacement part is an oven control board. The oven control board is the primary computer circuit board that controls the main functions of the oven. These functions include turning the oven on as well as adjusting and maintaining the temperature of the oven. Luckily, replacing a control board is a simple process.To replace the board, first, make sure the oven is unplugged. Gain access to the back of the oven and remove the upper back panel. Once the panel is removed, locate the old control board. Take note of the orientation of the wires by taking a photo with a phone camera. Disconnect the wire harness and any individual wires that are attached to the old board. Re-secure the wires into their correct positions. Snap the new board back in place and reinstall the upper back panel.This genuine replacement control board is compatible with Frigidaire Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Westinghouse brand ovens.

With a Phillips screw driver, on the back of the control panel there was about 6 or 7 screws to undo, to take the cover off and 2 screws holding the timer in place. Just undone those, took out old timer, made sure I took wires from old timer one at a time, and, put on new timer. Put everything back, although I had to find a couple of very small washers to make the timer fit tight, in the 2 holes it came out of. Luckily I had those or would of been a very loose timer.
