Gotta love the inter-webs and youtube.com I did a couple of searches and some troubleshooting. Everything pointed to the damper assembly and thermo so I ordered them as well as the new versions of the flimsy plastic drawer shelves, while I was working out of state during COVID. I had the parts waiting for me at the house. Rolled in Sunday, 22 minutes later, damper and thermo installed. The fridge is cooling. I didn't use any tools. I pulled the lower rack out of dishwasher, studied the clip opposite side of tines (still working), and based upon observation, installed replacement part. Without the new clip the tines wouldn't stay secure to hold dishes in place. My only issue is the online schematic illustration. Because I couldn't tell from the illustration, exactly what I needed, I over-ordered replacement parts. I decided to keep the extra parts - just in case! any type of service call would have... Their loss- no wonder they're going out of business. Also, should note that the original assembly was plastic but the replacement was metal. Sure sign of a crappy cost-cutting decision. Found a knowledgeable qualified agent at AppliancePartsPros.com that found the upper and lower door bins were not correctly illustrated...In fact, they were opposite...a Whirlpool mistake...The top bin 13 on the drawing was actually the lower bin part number, and the lower bin 4 on the drawing was actually the top bin part number...With that little effort, paying attention to detail of the description of the size of the bin, the agent/tech ordered the correct lower bin for me...When it arrived,...
