Part Number: 242193212

Replaces a worn refrigerator door seal on the fresh-food compartment to restore a tight, even seal. Helps maintain cold temperatures, reduce condensation around the door, and cut energy loss when the old gasket is torn, warped, or gapped.

What it does

  • Creates a continuous seal around the fresh-food door to keep cold air in.
  • Helps prevent warm-air leaks that cause temperature swings.
  • Reduces moisture/sweating along the door edge.
  • Addresses gaps, tears, cracks, or a gasket that won’t lie flat.

What’s included
One refrigerator door gasket for the fresh-food door (black).

Install notes

  • Unplug the refrigerator before starting.
  • Warm the new gasket (soak in warm water or use low-heat hair dryer) to relax folds.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Leaking from the bottom of the tub door   Joseph P. • Palmyra , PA • April 10, 2015

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Due to bad door seal ice built up in bottom of freezer water then leaking out   Christopher K. • Alexandria , VA • July 19, 2016

Door gasket was easy to remove and reinstall. Original gasket was penetrated while cleaning food stuff from folds in the seal below the frig doors.
