The parts are under the stovetop and the knobs are attached to them. We bought the correct ones from AppliancePartsPros, these were the correct ones. Seems we have an oddball stovetop. Turned off power. Removed cover over back of fan control switch. Unscrewed nut holding old switch in place. Removed clear plastic wire coverings. Hardest part of job. Photographed wires. Removed wires of old switch and replaced with wires from new switch. Had an extra green wire since old switch did not have a ground. Secured switch in panel with nut that came with it. Replaced cover on back of control switch. Turned on power and it now reduces the speed of the fan.

Filled tub to about 6 inches and inspected washer. Noticed that the tube leading from the air entrapment bubble on the exterior side of the drum had a small leak in it. Clipped off the part of the tube that had the hole in it(it was very close to the connector nipple) reconnected and problem was solved.
