This is a relay board that controls power to the surface burner elements on an electric range or cooktop. It receives signals from the electronic oven control and switches the heating elements on and off at the correct power levels. I ordered the control board because the old one had many (about 30) opens on the back of the control board and the plastic cover for it was warped. Helpful notes; put front cover on before you connect the wiring. This will save you hours of being mad! All the plugins have different ends, you can't screw it up! I could not find disassembly instructions so just went straight into it.
