After taking the top off the washer I found the Tech Data Sheet ( for repair person ) The E53 code was listed as Low Voltage to the motor board and referred me to test #15. Which stated to check the "drum water NTC" ( Negative Temperature Coefficient or Thermistor). What was misleading was that there are 2 NTC's. If your washer has a "Sanitize" feature , then there is a drum water NTC as well as one on the fill valve body. IF you have the sanitize feature then you need to replace the drum water... Read more

Here's what the problem was: Started the 'Normal' cycle... I closed the door... it calls for water, water fills, ECS sensor doesn't kick it to the next segment of the cycle (wash), so the water over-fills and reaches the over-fill sensor. So many other are replacing the plastic 'case-brake,' main board, and the ECS sensor. Stumbled upon Appliance Parts Pros web site and after some research bought 2 circuit boards. (UIB) Interface Board AP4501702 and ESEC Relay Board AP5780950. I carefully replaced the UIB board first and it solved the problem. Things like taking the door off can be found on the internet and took me far more time than actually replacing the board. I have never used APP before but understand that the other board is returnable. I am a very happy and future customer. Read more

I've ordered new main and tactile board and installed it. Everything worked fine after boards exchange. Ran full cycle, no problems at all. Dis-assembly and installation was really easy, all I needed was Phillips screwdriver and a star tip attachment wrench (I'm always asking myself question why this is done like that? , why can't it be just regular Phillips screw?) Unplugged oven and removed back panel of oven, found schematics taped to back of oven. Found a relay board that was burned where upper heating element plug connected to it. Replaced relay board and then repaired burned connector by replacing the spade terminal ends that were melted. Suspect connection was loose and that caused board damage. I replaced the interface board that connected stove top to the elements. I was a little worried because some online message boards reported the same problem and the problem did not clear when they replaced the board. I ordered the board on Thursday afternoon and it was delivered to my home Saturday afternoon. I installed the new board Saturday night and oven is working like new.
