After googling the symptoms I determined that the control board was the problem. The original control board had been discontinued, but there was a current equivalent board. AppliancePartsPros.com had the best price online so I placed the order. It was shipped the next business day and was delivered the day after! I repaired the problem by replacing the Power Board assembly and the daughter relay board. Not sure which one was the problem. Since I had it apart I replaced both. So far the unit is working like new. Everything was plug in, so I didn't have to worry about complex wiring. I took pictures prior to disassembly to make sure I got the reassembly right. I was told by the person who took my order that I could find an instruction video on you tube . So I went there and follow those instructions. The repair went well although I did have a slight problem with the door latch and the soap dispenser lever. They both fell out as I was trying to install the timer, but I went back to the video and although it didn't show how to replace these two parts I was able to see how they were placed and was able to figure it out from there. I had ordered several parts from Appliance Pros and installed parts that did not solve the problem. Return the parts and was going to give up. Called Appliance Pros Tech and she suggested that I try installing a User Interface Board. She sent me the new board and problem solved. Dishwasher working like new. Read more

The most challenging part of this was determining what the problem was. At first I thought the clutch (or related parts) had worn out, but by chance, I pulled on the timer knob, and the machine started spinning. When I let it go, it stopped.
