Shane B Dupont , WA May 14, 2016 Appliance: Maytag Undercounter Dishwasher MDB7601AWW41 No power to led displays/dishwasher non functioning Replaced control board with OEM part from ApplianceParts Pro - fit exactly and remedied the problems. Simple to replace - turn off power (circuit breaker), remove internal door panel, remove control board cover and unplug wires/LED leads (the LED lead connectors on the board have a square tension slip ring around them that hold the leads - just pull these up away from board and they will release the leads) and then remove the controller board housing. The controller board is held into the housing with plastic clips - push in and the board is released. Install in reverse order. Run a system test as described in directions with new control board. Quick fix. Read More... 23 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Nut Drivers, Screwdrivers
Joseph C Overland Park , KS January 04, 2015 Appliance: Model JDW1100AWS Dishwasher drained too early I originally had a professional come out and look at my dishwasher who indicated the pump needed to be replaced. I bought the part from the online store just to find out that was not the problem. I was very please with the return policy as it was very prompt and easily return the part. I then submitted my problem to the website and had it diagnosed as the computer board problem. I ordered the new part and likely that was the issue. I will only use appliancepartspros.com for future issues. Willie F Sanger , TX September 30, 2017 Dishwasher would not properly cycle. I replaced the control board. The part from Appliance Parts Pros came in less than 18 hours. However FedEx delivered it to my mailbox which is over a mile away from my home (we live in a very rural place) instead of here and I was delayed by a day in getting the repair done. That and almost 20 minutes on the phone with FedEx to initiate an investigation into where the delivery was made. Allen H Woodinville , WA August 22, 2017 Appliance: Maytag Undercounter Dishwasher JDB1100AWS36 Dishwasher was failing to drain more and more frequently customer also noted they were dissatisfied with cleaning performance. Initial thoughts were a clogged drain, or failed drain motor. Disassembling the lower impeller assembly and checking the lines all the way through to the garbage disposal proved that wasn't the problem. In the process I found the tech sheet behind the kick panel (and a slow leak in the supply line, but that's a different story) which showed the key combination for putting the washer in test mode. Used that to prove the drain motor was working fine. With all of the mechanical possibilities eliminated, was left with the chance that it was a failing relay on the control board. Eight screws, three nuts later and all was back together. Customer is very happy! Threw in a couple of tine clips which had broken over the years, and she was even more pleased! Read More...
