Fix frost buildup and warm fridge temps caused by a failed defrost heater. This evaporator heating element melts ice during defrost cycles to restore cooling.
This part is a grill element that is used on a cooktop. The element is responsible for supplying heat to the cooking area of the cooktop. If the element is not lighting up orange or red when it is turned on, it will need to be replaced. This part may need to be replaced over time due to normal wear and tear on the appliance. Some users may also notice that the element is not heating evenly or works intermittently. If this is the case, this is a genuine OEM replacement part that is made out of high-quality materials. Used multimeter to diagnose no continuity through heating element. Took out element and found underwire from a bra (C-cup I think...) had shorted it and caused a break.
