Old seals were dry rotting and cracking Nick W. • Winston Salem , NC • February 10, 2026
Pulled out old parts, and swapped with new. New seals needed to be warmed up with a hair dryer to get wrinkles out from shipping, but that was simple as well. With my fridge, there was also a secondary piece on the door which needed to be removed with a screw. Took some extra time to give all those surfaces on the fridge a much needed cleaning while the seals were off. New seals fit perfectly and the replacement was simple- video provided on the website was also helpful.

This cleaning felt mounts on the dryer's front shroud. It lightly contacts the rotating drum to wipe away lint and residue, helping keep the drum edge clean and supporting consistent airflow to the lint filter.
- Provides a soft wiper against the drum rim to reduce lint and residue buildup
- Helps maintain smooth drum rotation and a clean front duct area
- Wear signs include frayed or missing felt, lint trails on fabrics, or light squeaks at the front
- Visual inspection is recommended if lint accumulates inside the drum after cycles
What's included: 1 cleaning felt Install notes:
- Disconnect power; for gas dryers, also shut off gas supply
- Access the front panel/shroud and note the original felt's orientation before removal
- Clean the mounting surface; install the new felt in the same position (some models use clips or adhesive)
- Hand-rotate the drum to ensure even, light contact before reassembly and testing

Felt trap duct dislodged from slot and bearing slides and rear drum sleeve worn Curt C. • Jackson , MI • September 02, 2015
Selected and ordered parts from online drawings.
Watched videos showing how to make repair.
Replaced worn parts with new ones.
Suggested improvement:
Videos didn't show my model (I know there are many models, showing all is probably not possible). In case of Felt the video showed a Maytag dryer when my model was GE.
In my case Felt had torn and dislodge from slot so I didn't know exactly how it should be installed.
A simple picture of the installed Item would help.
Also the parts list should...

Main wash motor froze and then burned out the controller too i had to buy a new motor so the completely assembled sump with all motors and valves and heating element was a real steal for +$10 Mike K. • Fort Collins , CO • May 01, 2015
I bought a new controller first and installed it. The exact replacement controller was no longer available and I had to modify two AC connectors that changed from 3 pins with two wires to two pins with two wires. This was not expected but I made it work just fine by getting the three pin connectors on the cable to fit the two pin by breaking out the center web in the board two pin and then shaving off the raised key plastic on the wires. Then on power up, I found that the wash motor did not...

Intermitten mini explosions in the oven when trying to use Jerry L. • Canton , GA • December 28, 2015
Troubleshot the oven by checking the broiler which worked good (same fuel valve). After reading the some tips about troubleshooting the Glow Ignitor I could see the broiler ignitor got white hot and the oven ignitor only got bright orange (orange to red causes intermittent ignition or mini explosions). Watched the how to video and it was good information. You should be observant about which openings in the back of the oven as to where the two wires are coming out of. My oven is over 12 years...

The refrigerator door seal of our ge side by side refrigerator/freezer had worn out Harlan H. • Mc Farland , WI • December 04, 2014
From Appliance PartsPros.com, we ordered a replacement seal. We submitted the model number to make certain the part would work. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly reply that the part would fit our unit and also by the very quick arrival of the new seal. We were also happy with the price for the seal-an exact replacement part. We would highly recommend AppliancePartsPros.com .

Door seals needed replacing they were torn and had mildew on them Leon H. • La Plata , MD • November 22, 2019
This was super easy! I ordered the replacement seals from AppliancePartsPros, they also had a video showing how to do it. Once I received the set I simply removed the old ones by pulling them away from the door. I took the new ones and pressed them into place. The only tool needed, was a screwdriver to remove the door divider from the left door. Note- the seal for the left door is different from the right door so you will want to be sure to compare the new seals to the old seals before...

2 broken "wheel and mount assemblies" (same side) and a few misc upper basket plastic part were broken Michael B. • Wellington , FL • December 29, 2015
With the basket out of the dishwasher, the plastic parts basically snap on and off... popped the broken parts off and the new parts on. The 2 wheel and mount assemblies were a little more complicated. The video on the website advises to disconnect the supply line and drain line... I didn't have to do this. I just pulled the dishwasher out of its cabinet a little over a foot and removed the 2 screws holding each assembly in place and removed them. The previous gaskets (2 PER ASSEMBLY)...

Leaking from the bottom John H. • Ozark , MO • October 14, 2014
The gasket is fairly straightforward: it's just a press-fit right in to the channel. What you need to know is that you need to stretch the gasket material lengthwise prior to installation; if you don't it will be too short. The problem is that the bottom seal is not included with this gasket kit. The bottom seal begins to loosen at the corners and then begins to allow water past the door. The only way the bottom seal is sold is as part of the inner door assembly, which is costly. I removed...

Slow leak from front of LG Tromm washing machine. Peter M. • Norwood , MA • February 26, 2022
I had a slow leak from the very front of my LG washer, so I was pretty sure that it was just the gasket leaking, and not any of the hoses. It's not a complicated repair, with the usual confidence-inspiring video from Matt. There are three things to be aware of:
1) I originally ordered the wrong gasket. My model number is WM2277HW /01, which the APP website does not recognize. It only recognizes /00 or no suffix whatsoever. The correct part number for the /01 is 4986ER0004B. The easy way...
