Refrigerator quit cooling Mitchell M. • Jackson , GA • May 12, 2017
First I have an LG French Door with a bottom freezer. It quit cooling. I went on line and watched some very informative You Tube videos. I trouble shot according to these videos. In these videos it shows that if there is a click coming off the compressor it has too meanings, the compressor is froze or the start relay is bad. I ohmed the compressor and had no open wires in the compressor. I then shook the relay and it was making noise. The videos stated that is there is a noise in the relay...

Genuine Frigidaire part

Part Number: 134813601
The Door Switch is an OEM part for Frigidaire dryers. This part ensures that the dryer operates safely by only allowing the machine to run when the door is completely closed. Positioned typically at the door frame, the switch activates when the door is shut, signaling the control system that it's safe to begin the cycle.
Over time, door switches can wear out or become damaged, which can interfere with the normal operation of the dryer.
Symptoms of a faulty Door Switch include:
- The dryer not starting when the door is closed.
- The dryer stopping unexpectedly, which might be due to a loose or faulty switch.
- A lack of the usual "click" sound that indicates the door has latched properly, suggesting the switch isn’t engaging.
- The dryer continuing to run when the door is opened, which poses a significant safety risk.
This OEM Frigidaire part is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator and some Kenmore models.

Dryer will start, run for a few second, then turn off. No error codes John M. • Waikoloa , HI • April 03, 2014
By reading the forums I first thought it may be the thermostat. I bypassed the thermostat wiring and the dryer still turned off after a few second of running. The second check was for the door switch. I couldn't find an explanation of how to bypass, so I just ordered a new one to try. It worked.

Refridgerator stopped cooling Gary S. • Madison , WI • April 13, 2015
Replaced the Thermistor Assembly and also picked up Overload Protection circuit per the comments posted by the "experts" on the web site. Both parts cheap enough. I ordered parts at 3:30 in the afternoon and they showed up the next morning from half way across the country. Outstanding service. It also fixed the 9 year old refrigerator. Replacing the parts took about a half hour most of which was moving the unit from the wall and removing the panel to get at the parts.

Dryer heating for only a short time then no heat at all David N. • Fairfax , CA • December 08, 2018
GE Gas Dryer Model DBVH512GF1WW began to heat for only a short amount of time so drying clothes took WAY too long. Read online that the first thing to replace are the solenoids. Bought the two solenoids from AppliancePartsPros.com for about $50 total, and it seems to have fixed the problem. Had to watch a few videos to learn to disassemble the dryer, and the job took a couple of hours, but now that I know what I'm doing it could be done in less than 30 minutes.
Also, the old solenoids tested...

We isolated a burning smell in our kitchen to our refrigerator, GE Profile PSS23MGTCCC which we purchased in November of 2006. This occurred at 3AM on 29 January 2015 and I am thankful that my wife got me up to investigate this odor. I unplugged the refrigerator.
I plugged the refrigerator back in at 6AM thinking it had time to cool. The burning smell happened immediately and I unplugged the refrigerator again right away.

After watching repair videos, I decided I could order the parts needed and do it myself for less than a service call, not to mention the additional cost for parts markup and installation that a service technician would charge. I am very pleased that I did. I ordered the start relay, overload and capacitor with some help from Ilya at customer service to make sure I was getting the correct replacements. Two screws remove the top. Unplug the wires to the old relay, give it a quarter turn and it's out. A five minute procedure.
