When I ordered the control board the young lady told me that I had to take the front off the dishwasher. I did exactly as she said and started to put the new control board on. I could not unplug from the old one and finally my son came by and did that. I then put everything back together and turned it on. IT WORKED. Thank you. Replaced Oven control Board, I actually had a "professional" appliance repair man come to the house and tell me what was wrong with the oven. After unplugging the dryer, I removed knobs and control panel. I removed the 3 connectors to start switch. I had to cut and replace one connector due to shorted wire which burnt the connector. I attached new connector and then attached these to start switch. I then remounted all three switches to new control panel and reattached control panel to dryer. Plugged in and started right up! My wife put the faceplate on the oven control while I accessed the display by pulling the oven out, unplugged it, and removed the rear cover. Only three nut head screws held the upper back panel. 4 nut screws hold the display onto the oven, they were easily removed. My wife took a couple photos of the rear wiring to ensure we plugged the new oven control in properly (there are a fair number of wires but they are color coded in most cases). This is a relatively easy repair. Here are detailed instruction to replace the Control Panel. Tools Required: #15 and #20 Torx drivers. (Power tools not recommended) THE INNER SHELL DOES NOT HAVE TO BE COMPLETELY REMOVED There are 10 perimeter screws that secure the inner shell (#15) to the outer shell and six screws, three on each side (#20). First diagnosed the problem by viewing several Youtube videos. Then ordered the part from AppliancePartsPros. After the part arrived I again referenced the best video - several times - and finally made the repair swapping out bad mother board with the new one from AppliancePartsPros. Saved me hundreds.
