Searching for paddles or baffles led me to Appliance Parts. Discovered I didn't have to buy anything in order to view the video which is a pretty nice feature to see if my skills are up to it. "How in the world do I repair something without external screws?" "Take the top off the machine to see if there are any mounting screws and then just smack the baffles toward the rear of the machine with a mallet to loosen and remove?" Easy, really easy. Washer started every cycle just fine. With just 9 minutes left on the cycle, when it started the spinning cycle it would stop and on the display showed a DC error code and it would kick the cycle to the beginning of the wash. One of the suspension rods was not working so I replaced the bad one and the other three . Tub has now leveled out and is spinning properly without making the noise. Rather than call a repairman, I looked on line to get a replacement part. AppliancePartsPros.com had clear diagrams of the washer's major subassemblies from which it was easy to identify the broken baffle. Ordered the parts and followed the instruction videos that Sears provide, Initially tried to order parts from Sears directly but the web-page kept complaining about my shipping address. Their loss- no wonder they're going out of business. Also, should note that the original assembly was plastic but the replacement was metal. Sure sign of a crappy cost-cutting decision. So, in the process of a kitchen remodel my GC managed to lose *both* of the rear plastic supports for my GE stove! The drawer was totally unsupported without the brackets. I managed to find them on your site and see that they were a new and better design (rear mount with screw vs side mount and no firm mounting). The install was a snap and the brackets work excellent. Initially I replaced the rear drum bearing assembly. I searched all over for a good how-to video and came across the Appliance Pros tutorial on YouTube. It was by far the easiest to understand with the added bonus that AP had the parts I needed. I had never done this before, but using the video as my guide I was able to replace the rear bearing assembly in about an hour and a half.
