The LG Model LG Washer model WM2487HRMA ISSUE: Washing Machine was filling very slowly. Overnight it would fill about 1 or 2 gallons. Removed and replaced 3 door switches and mounting bar that holds switches plastic gets brittle with age and each switch comes out slightly different from each other, the chances of breaking a mounting pin is very easy. care should be taken when snapping mounting bar back into place to insure top latch and bottom latch locate properly insure bar is proper aligned when tightening screws their is free play in mounting bracket that could affect door properly engaging switches. I am so blessed. I went online. Found the brackets. Watch the video for the brackets I chose. And lucky me. I did not have to pull the dishwasher out. The installer did not have it flush under the counter. So I was able to pull the dishwasher forward unhook the damage brackets and insert the new. Put the dishwasher back in. Two screws. I kept a LOG on this repair fix starting 6/21/20: started with cleaning out behind the Frigidaire /coils, fan blade, floor, walls, toe-plate, compressor. #1 Replaced just the Run Capacitor [from my local appl store]. Prior to ordering parts I had pulled the pump strainer basket and cleaned it out. There was both soft and hard scale build up. The tub-to-pump hose was also pretty crusty/slimey. Still got warnings for SUDS and repeated F02 errors. Ordered parts and replaced the pump, tub-to-pump hose, interior drain hose and exterior drain hose (both hoses has some slime build up). Check fan operation and was OK. Everything else worked except when microwave was started for a cycle. I looked around on internet and found someone had trouble with the door switches. I started to check door switches and found one shorted. I replaced both lower door switches and it took care of problem. Read more
