VERY simple fix- you do not even have to pull the range out.. I ordered a new cooktop from Appliance parts Pros. The customer sales rep Alphonso was great and walked me through the general process. I removed the top panel of the washer and removed the front console. since I could not order the button I was forced to order the console. you did a terrific job on taking my order and shipping it within the same day. Smaller items would get past the grill and clog up the exhaust. This would cause the dryer to not dry properly. I removed the broken grill, cleaned out the exhaust vent, and installed the new grill. Now the dryer works great. Read more

Once you are resigned to disconnecting the exhaust fan system under the range so you can remove the range from the surrounding counter, the rest is easy. once out, its 8 screws to remove the top and 8 screws to remove the heating elements, and 2 simple wire conneop back onto the stovectors.
